Week 7

Hi my name is Alexa. This week we have been painting a Gingerbread Man to finish off our KOS unit. I finished my 'dot art' to hang on the wall.
Today the school raised money for Daffodil Day by having a mufti day to support and donate money towards the cancer society. We put our coins out on the courts on a drawing of a daffodil and then we had a whole school Jump Jam. There were spot prizes for best dressed. I won the best dressed for our class.
The grass near the new building is finally free to play on and the new building is nearly finished for the Junior classes. 'YAY'
Room 27 presented the assembly on Thursday in our class and I was in a group that played a song on the recorder that Sarah helped us learn. We were also put in teams for the big day out. My team that I'm representing is 'WALES'

Have a nice time at the Disco for Jump Jam.

Bye Bye

Gingerbread men

Hi my name is Alida and I was last weeks leader.
Last Monday our class got a Gingerbread Man to take care of for a week. It was part of our Keeping Ourselves Safe Unit. We learnt how to care for something vulnerable. A few people found it hard not to eat parts of it which was not very responsible. Most of us took very good care of them until Friday. My Gingerbread Mans name was Muggles. Muggles' buttons came off and his legs broke in half but I melted some milk chocolate and put it in the middle of the things that were broken to mend him. On Friday, at our fruit bread time we had a celebration. We shared fruit and biscuits and then we ate our Gingerbread Man - YUMMY!!!
